FACTORS OF BULLYING
There are many different things that factor into bullying such as family, school peers, and your own community.

Family:
Parental conflict
Parental warmth and engagement
Parental use of drugs and alcohol
Parents in jail
child maltreatment
lack of warmth, involvement, and supervision from parents victimization by older siblings
harsh or physical discipline by parents
Community:
The safety of your neighborhood
The connections that you have with the neighbors in your community
Peers:
children and teens who have a positive attitude towards violence are more likely to bully
Children and teens with high-status social roles may bully so that they can keep their social status
children and teens who have low social status roles may bully so that they can get a higher social role
exposure to aggressive, violent and delinquent peers
having at least 1 close friend
